    Limited Time Offer
Introductory offer: $69.99 for 12 bottles of wine! Also choose between free bonus gifts: 3 bottles of wine or a deluxe, lever-action corkscrew.

    "New to Wine Clubs" Rating:

Overview: The Virgin Wines club was one of the first 12-bottle case clubs offered up as a way to get your quarterly wine fix at value-focused prices. Over the years we've gone back and forth one whether or not they deliver a good value, but for some time we've thought their $12 wine selections really can't be beat for value, especially as prices keep rising at the grocery store. Take advantage of their introductory offer of just $69.99 for a case, but be warned, you are signing up for recurring shipments at a much higher price.

What We Love: They have one of the best line-ups of introductory offers for wine clubs we've seen.

Could Be Better: A more customized selection geared toward Virgin's quirky and fun brand.

    "New to Wine Clubs" Rating:

Overview: From the wine sales partner for Wine Enthusiast magazine, this is WineExpress' value-oriented wine of the month club focusing on just white wines. Like their other wine clubs, we feel they delivery good-quality wines at fair prices, but the selections we've received are available at grocery stores, so joining this wine club is more about convenience than anything else.

What We Love: WineExpress is the retail arm of Wine Enthusiast Magazine. Who better to select the best wines for a wine of the month club than a company that rates wine?

Could Be Better: We'd like to see some updated "Previous Selections" on each of the wine clubs. The ones listed are a little out of date.

    by 4 Seasons Wine

    Limited Time Offer
Introductory offer: $69.99 for 12 bottles of wine! Also choose between free bonus gifts: 3 bottles of wine or a deluxe, lever-action corkscrew.

    "New to Wine Clubs" Rating:

Overview: A 12-bottle "case club" delivering low-cost international wines on a quarterly basis. The 4Seasons wine club has been rebranded as the Laithwaites wine club.

What We Love: They have one of the best line-ups of introductory offers for wine clubs we've seen.

Could Be Better: No recommendations for improvement here. We think they're offering a solid wine club.

    by Vinesse

    "New to Wine Clubs" Rating:

Overview: While it's a misnomer to call this a Four Seasons wine club (because you actually get a fifth shipment just in time for the holidays, to bring to parties or to serve at your own), it's still a great value wine club. Designed to compete with other big name quarterly case clubs, the Vinesse Four/Five Seasons club is also tailored to the season, so you get lighter wines in the summer and heavier wines to help get you through the long winter.

What We Love: It's better to ship more wine less often, so we like the way they've compressed a normal 2-bottle monthly club

Could Be Better: Great value and a great track record are nothing to sneeze at, but we???d like to see a better understanding of where the wines will come from.

    Limited Time Offer
For joining the American Cellars Wine Club today, you'll receive a 6-piece insulated wine tote include with your third wine club shipment as a token of our appreciation—a $37.95 value.

    "New to Wine Clubs" Rating:

Overview: It's been a while since we've received a shipment of this wine club, and at last check we were thoroughly disappointed. We've received several other shipments from Vinesse lately and were pleasantly surprised with how far the quality has come since they brought in a new wine buyer. It might be time to give American Cellars Wine Club another try, but at this time we don't recommend it.

What We Love: You can decide exactly how much you wine you want to receive, unprecedented options on order size and frequency.

Could Be Better: We're all for cheap wine, but we really would prefer our cheap wine to actually be cheap. These prices are too steep for cheap.

    "New to Wine Clubs" Rating:

Overview: Uncorked Ventures focuses on California, Oregon, and Washington wines and delivers high-quality selections from small-production wineries. This is their entry-level club featuring premium wines from small production wineries. When you're ready to discover some of the best wine available from U.S. producers, try this wine club.

What We Love: We're quite impressed with most of the past selections from Uncorked Ventures, especially as they include some of our favorite California wineries.

Could Be Better: We'd love to see more content on their website to talk about their wine-selection process, some of the awesome stories from the road, and even their monthly newsletter.

    by Gourmet Food Clubs

    "New to Wine Clubs" Rating:

Overview: Love California wine but you're tired of Cabernet and Chardonnay? Try this wine of the month club which helps you explore wine made with lesser-known grape varieties like Zinfandel, Syrah, and Roussanne. This wine club focuses on California's Central Coast, especially Paso Robles.

What We Love: It's like going on a wine-tasting trip to Paso Robles without all the travel expenses! If you love Paso, you'll love this wine club.

Could Be Better: We'd like them to publish what wines they've shipped to customers in the past and we'd like it if the website were more user-friendly.

    "New to Wine Clubs" Rating:

Overview: Chardonnay wine of the month clubs are hard to come by, and that makes this a good choice for a Chardonnay lover. This company focuses on California's Central Coast region, which happens to be a terrific area for growing Chardonnay grapes.

What We Love: California produces some of the most interesting Chardonnays in the world. Most of us can't afford White Burgundy but now we can get our Chardonnay fix within our budget.

Could Be Better: We'd like them to publish what wines they've shipped to customers in the past and we'd like it if the website were more user-friendly.

    "New to Wine Clubs" Rating:

Overview: This red wine of the month club focuses on California's Central Coast, especially Paso Robles. These regions are known for fruit-forward and high-alcohol red wines, also known as Big Reds, and are the perfect accompaniment for steaks, pizzas, and burgers. Explore one of California's fastest-growing wine regions with this club.

What We Love: These guys actually live and taste on the Central Coast of California, so they know what's good and they have great relationships to get great deals.

Could Be Better: They're overhyping themselves a bit. Not every wine they're offering is super premium, unless you consider that 'premium' means 'over $15' in the wine industry.

    by Gourmet Food Clubs

    "New to Wine Clubs" Rating:

Overview: One of the few wine of the month clubs which focuses on Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine clubs from Gourmet Food Clubs are California Central Coast centric, especially Paso Robles. The ideal customer for this wine club is someone prefers Cabernet but hasn't developed a strong preference for where it comes from.

What We Love: Like custom-fit sports-equipment, a Cabernet Sauvignon wine club just feels right. It's always worthwhile to explore such an amazing grape through unique regional expressions of its potential.

Could Be Better: We'd like them to publish what wines they've shipped to customers in the past and we'd like it if the website were more user-friendly.
